peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Friday, May 13, 2011 in his 90th year. Loving husband of the late Maria. Devoted father of Mary (Wayne) Edwards, Donald (Elaine), Elizabeth (Brian) Malloy, Elaine (Randy) Benham and Robert (Colleen). Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is survived by sisters Henny Sprong-Groen, Catrine Schoonakker, brothers Arie Groen and Gerritt Groen. Private arrangements were entrusted to the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St., E., Shelburne.
