Ada Minnie Brayford

peacefully at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in her 91st year. Loving wife of the late Gordon. Cherished mother of Eleanor (Gary) Firth, Lois (Bill) Blanchard, Harry, Mary (Peter) McLean. Devoted grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Harry Dickson. Predeceased by son Allan and daughter-in-law Elizabeth. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Ada was a long time employee of Dufferin Oaks. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday , May 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at the Shelburne Cemetery.
