Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Harvey. Dear mother of Carol and her husband Harold Fluney. Devoted grandmother of Kevin and Gail Bowler and the late Bill Bowler and special great-grandmother of Reilly, Quinlynn and Daire. Dear sister of Davis Caroll, Archie Carroll, Richard Carroll, Margaret McCallum, Bruce Carroll and the late Bill Carroll. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment at Hornings Mills Cemetery. In honour of Lila's devotion to her great-grandchildren, donations to 164 Squadron Air Cadets or Shelburne Scouts would be appreciated.
