Peacefully at Dufferin Oaks Nursing Home, Shelburne on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, in her 80th year. Loving wife of the late Archie. Cherished mother of Wayne (Marilyn) McCann, Angie (Alex) Leighton, Mary (Victor) Dodd, Elaine (Ian) Courtney. Beloved grandmother of Lisa, Jocelyn, Stacey, Julie, Tracy, Christopher and Virginia and great grandchildhildren Cody, Austin, Amy and Ethan. She is survived by sister Stella, brothers Nawton, Jim and Gordon. Predeceased by sister Elva. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne on Friday from 12-2 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Glen Morris Cemetery to follow.
