Barbara Mary "Marie" Exelby

It is with deepest sorrow the family of Marie Exelby announce her sudden passing on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Sunnybrook Hospital, in her 85th year. Marie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and wife of the late Lloyd Exelby, the love of her life. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Sharon and Greg Brown, Lynda Tupling, Melodie and Brian Montgomery, Isabel and Jeff Holmes, as well as her treasured 11grandchildren, Kerri, Kurtis, Dylan, Lyndsay, Elisha, Miles, Paige, Taylor, Sadie, Jillian, Nicole and brand new great granddaughter Isabella.She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by sisters Alice, Marguerite and brother-in-law Don Exelby. Rest in peace Mom, we love you more than words can say. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St., E., Shelburne on Sunday from2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Trinity United Church, 200 Owen Sound St., Shelburne on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Shelburne Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
