peacefully and unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Loving mom of Sara and step mom of Adam and Matthew. Devoted daughter of Martin and Dorothy Maas. Dear sister of Liz (Paul) McKay and Diane (Don) Hubel and aunt of Chris, Josh, Darren, Christine, Samantha and Rebecca and several great nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by her many friends. Carla will be missed by her furry companions, Roo and Storm.
The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and on Friday from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery.
