Passed away peacefully on Friday October 21st 2011 at Bethell House Hospice, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Glen Sr. Loved mother of Jean Rowe (Greg), and Glen House (Laura). Cherished grandmother of Spencer and Mackenzie Rowe.
Chris will be sadly missed by her sister Jean Simpson, sisters-in-law June McNay, Marion House, and Barb Watts, and by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her brother Alexander "Sandy" McNay, brothers-in-law Blake "Bud" Simpson, Frank House, and Bob Watts, niece Heather Sorenson, and nephew Alan Watts.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne on Saturday October 29th from noon until 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bethell House Hospice, or the Geritol Follies of Hamilton.
A special thank you to Dr. Charles Murphy, Bayshore Home Health nurses Wendy, Liz and Jocelyn, the nurses of D-wing at Headwaters Health Care Centre, and the staff at Bethell House for their care and kindness.
