peacefully at Saugeen Valley Nursing Home, Mount Forest on Friday, January 21, 2011, in his 85th year. Cherished father of Evelin (Dan) Lavigne. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ken Podniewicz, Jeanette Murphy and four great grandchildren Bailey, Jakob, Maxwell and Clark. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Edith Nichts and brother Alfred of Germany.
Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne. Cremation took place at the Flesherton Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
