A veteran of WWII
Peacefully at home on July 1 2010 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Pearl Irene, cherished father of Christine and her husband Steve Shugar; Glenn and his wife Penny; Gail and her husband Jesse Reynolds; Deborah and her husband Peter McGilton. Loving grandfather of Michael (Amy) and Daniel (Kathleen); Jeffrey, Mark, and Devon; Christopher; Scott and his wife Julie; Cheryl and Alexander. Great grandfather of Leo Leslie Shugar. Special thanks to his nephew Dr John Hughes, Dr Willans, and Dr Shahzad for their medical care and support, and to the many caregivers who helped Harry and the family over the past months. Harry was a distinguished Chemical Engineer at Alcan. Harry's love and support for his family will be deeply missed. A memorial service is being planned.
