peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, in his 92nd year. Loving husband of the late Helen. Beloved father of Donald, Brian (Shirley), Glen (Carol), Kevin (Linda), daughter-in-law Marie (Gord Keir). Cherished grandfather of Patrick, Carol, Andrew, Sarah, Benjamin, Amy, Terra, Dee, Ivy and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Wayne. He will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Ken (Maud) Rowntree and sisters-in-law Velma Potts and Irene Shiels. He will be missed by his many friends. He was a past Master of the Lorne Masonic Lodge # 377, Shelburne.
The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment Shelburne Cemetery. Donations to the March of Dimes or Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
